Direct Burial
Where a situation calls for cables to be buried, the DB series is ideal. These
cables have the same construction characteristics of the QC series, except
that the sheath is made of two layers, the inner being of polyethylene (PE)
and the outer layer of polypropylene (PP).
The PP layer has a harder surface than the PE and provides a useful abrasion
resistance when pulled through pipes and ducts.
These cables carry a 15 year guarrantee.
Duct
Ducts and alkathene tube are ideal for the insertion of the DUCT brand
cables, which are by their design cheaper and more flexible than direct burial.
